About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end grocery analytics solutions, including data pipelines, dashboards, and reports.
- Analyze sales, inventory, and promotion data to uncover actionable insights for assortment, pricing, and marketing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (merchandising, supply chain, finance) to translate analytical findings into business strategies.
- Implement advanced analytical techniques such as market basket analysis, cohort analysis, and predictive modeling to forecast demand and optimize inventory.
- Present findings to senior leadership, translating complex data into clear, concise recommendations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in retail analytics, preferably in the grocery sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of grocery industry metrics, assortment planning, and promotion analytics is a plus.
