About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain a comprehensive Responsible AI framework aligned with regulatory and ethical standards for anti‑money laundering, fraud detection, and credit risk products.
- Design and implement machine‑learning models and pipelines in Python, ensuring transparency, fairness, and explainability throughout the model lifecycle.
- Collaborate with data scientists, risk analysts, and engineering teams to embed AI governance controls into AWS‑based production environments.
- Conduct bias assessments, model audits, and risk impact analyses, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate ethical and compliance risks.
- Drive continuous improvement by monitoring model performance, updating governance policies, and delivering training on responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning, AI ethics, or responsible AI program management within financial‑services or risk‑technology domains.
- Proficiency in Python and statistical analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and deploying ML models at scale.
- Strong understanding of data governance, bias detection, model interpretability, and regulatory frameworks such as AML, CTF, and GDPR.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into clear guidance for cross‑functional stakeholders.
