Software Engineer
Resident Engineer responsible for on‑site project oversight, ensuring design intent, quality, safety, and schedule compliance using BIM, AutoCAD, and Revit tools within transportation infrastructure projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on‑site technical lead, coordinating design, construction, and quality control activities for transportation projects.
- Interpret and enforce design documents, specifications, and applicable codes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project schedules.
- Utilize BIM, AutoCAD, and Revit to review and update drawings, perform clash detection, and support constructability reviews.
- Prepare and present progress reports, field inspection notes, and change order documentation to project management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of construction engineering experience in transportation or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in BIM, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, OSHA 30, and other safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
