Research Scientist Intern - Theory
KRAFTON is seeking a Research Scientist Intern for its AI Research Division to focus on the theoretical analysis and design of algorithms for deep learning models. The role involves exploring and improving model performance, defining theoretical problems for ML/DL generalization and optimization, and implementing cutting-edge research.
KRAFTON AI Research Division focuses on building a next-generation AI-based game production paradigm centered around Large Language Models (LLM). We manage the entire process from model design and training to optimization, deployment, and operation, aiming to enhance game production efficiency and create new play experiences. We are particularly concentrated on developing intelligent agents that can understand game environments, act appropriately, and naturally interact with players through Language Model-based Gaming Agent technology.
Within this research direction, our department conducts theoretical analyses of algorithms necessary for foundation models to understand "why/how" they work effectively, and based on this understanding, designs new and efficient algorithms. Leveraging this foundational research, we are expanding beyond gaming into the domains of Physical AI and interactive intelligence, ultimately creating intelligent systems connected to the real world.
