About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement real‑time embedded software for AR glasses, ensuring low latency and power efficiency.
- Develop and optimize computer vision, audio interaction, and large language model pipelines for on‑device inference.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to accelerate models using GPU/FPGA and custom ASICs.
- Prototype and benchmark new algorithms on embedded platforms, iterating quickly based on performance metrics.
- Document research findings and contribute to technical reports and publications.
Requirements
- PhD candidate or recent PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++ with experience in CUDA or similar GPU frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with computer vision, audio signal processing, or large language models.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, real‑time constraints, and hardware acceleration techniques.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced research environment.
