Research Engineer
Lead cutting‑edge research on AI/ML techniques for dynamic systems and control, developing algorithms that enhance autonomous flight and robotic performance using Python, reinforcement learning, and advanced control theory.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models that predict and control dynamic system behavior in real‑time environments.
- Develop and validate control algorithms for aerospace and robotic platforms, integrating sensor data and ML inference.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate research findings into scalable prototypes and production‑ready solutions.
- Publish technical papers, present at conferences, and contribute to open‑source projects to advance the field.
- Maintain rigorous documentation of experiments, results, and code for reproducibility and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with focus on AI/ML and control.
- Proven experience in Python, reinforcement learning, and control system design.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex, multidisciplinary problems.
- Excellent communication skills for technical writing and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink) and robotics middleware (ROS) is a plus.
