Research Engineer
Lead cutting‑edge robotics research, developing AI‑driven perception and control systems using Python, ROS, and advanced machine learning models such as LLMs and VLMs. Drive simulation, deployment, and integration of robotic solutions in real‑world environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate AI algorithms for robotic perception, planning, and control using Python and ROS/ROS2.
- Develop and maintain large‑scale simulation pipelines in Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, and other environments to validate robotic behaviors.
- Integrate state‑of‑the‑art LLMs and VLMs into robotic systems for natural language understanding and vision‑language reasoning.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prototype and deploy solutions on edge devices such as NVIDIA Jetson.
- Publish research findings and contribute to open‑source projects, ensuring reproducibility and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field; 5+ years of software development or AI engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python, ROS/ROS2, and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Hands‑on experience with LLMs, VLMs, and large‑scale simulation tools.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced research environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for advancing robotics technology.
