Research Engineer
Research Engineer focused on building and curating advanced AI benchmarks across text, vision, and audio, leveraging Python, ML, and reinforcement learning to drive model evaluation and improvement.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale benchmarks for cutting‑edge AI models across multimodal domains.
- Collaborate with researchers to create novel evaluation metrics and reinforcement learning environments.
- Collect, clean, and annotate datasets, ensuring high quality and diversity for benchmark tasks.
- Implement automated pipelines for benchmark execution, result aggregation, and analysis.
- Analyze model performance, identify failure modes, and recommend actionable improvements.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Hands‑on experience with reinforcement learning frameworks and benchmark design.
- Proficiency in data engineering, including ETL pipelines and large‑scale dataset handling.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a passion for AI research.
