Research Engineer
Conduct cutting‑edge computer‑vision research and develop scalable AI models for immersive AR/VR experiences, leveraging Python, C++, deep‑learning frameworks and GPU acceleration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel computer‑vision algorithms and deep‑learning models for augmented and virtual reality applications.
- Prototype, evaluate, and iterate on research ideas using Python and C++ within PyTorch or TensorFlow ecosystems.
- Optimize model performance and scalability on GPU hardware using CUDA and related profiling tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional product, design, and engineering teams to integrate research outcomes into production pipelines.
- Publish findings in top conferences or internal knowledge bases and contribute to open‑source components when appropriate.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or strong research experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming, with hands‑on experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Deep understanding of convolutional neural networks, transformer‑based vision models, and GPU optimization techniques (CUDA).
- Track record of publishing research results and translating prototypes into scalable systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary environment.
