Data Scientist

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and analytical models to extract insights from complex pediatric health datasets.
- Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to identify disease patterns, treatment outcomes, and population health trends.
- Collaborate with clinicians, data engineers, and bioinformaticians to translate research questions into reproducible analytical workflows.
- Document methodologies, maintain version-controlled code repositories, and publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and internal reports.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of data science best practices.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong background in Python, SQL, and R.
- Proven expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and large‑scale data processing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex analyses to multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in healthcare or clinical research environments is highly desirable.
