Software Engineer

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement numerical simulation models for vehicle components using CFD and FEA techniques.
- Write, test, and maintain high‑performance code in Python, C++ and MATLAB.
- Analyze simulation results, validate against experimental data, and document findings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate computational tools into broader research objectives.
- Prepare scientific reports, conference papers, and contribute to grant proposals.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Computational Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++ (or MATLAB) with experience in high‑performance computing environments.
- Hands‑on experience with CFD and/or Finite Element Analysis software.
- Ability to work independently, manage project timelines, and communicate results effectively.
- Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
