About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau for real‑estate financing teams.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources (SQL databases, loan management systems, external market data) to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Perform ad‑hoc data analysis and create visualizations to support underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and strategic decision‑making.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver actionable insights.
- Automate recurring reporting processes using SQL scripts and Python where appropriate, reducing manual effort and turnaround time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field with 2–4 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Strong hands‑on experience building dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau, with a focus on clear visual storytelling.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
- Familiarity with Python (pandas, numpy) for data cleaning and automation is a plus.
