QA Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks for mobile and web applications, leveraging Selenium, Appium, Java/Python, and CI/CD pipelines to boost quality and delivery speed in an agile, fully remote environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and mobile platforms using Selenium, Appium, and related libraries.
- Write clean, reusable test scripts in Java and/or Python, integrating them with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker) to enable continuous testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional agile teams to define test strategies, ensure coverage, and drive defect prevention.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot flaky tests, and continuously improve framework performance and reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in test automation for web and mobile applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python, with deep knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Appium.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test‑driven development practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication abilities, and a self‑motivated remote work ethic.
