Software Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and operation of enterprise‑grade Azure Kubernetes Service platforms, driving automation, security hardening, and observability while collaborating with architects, developers, and security teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AKS cluster architectures across multiple environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using Infrastructure as Code tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate security controls and DevSecOps practices into the platform, including network policies, RBAC, and vulnerability scanning.
- Implement observability solutions (metrics, logging, tracing) to provide end‑to‑end visibility and rapid incident response.
- Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to define platform standards, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of cloud/platform engineering experience, with at least 3 years hands‑on AKS or Kubernetes production operations.
- Strong expertise in Azure services, networking, and security best practices.
- Proficiency with IaC (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Experience with Helm charts, GitOps workflows, and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and ability to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
