Lead end‑to‑end release processes for a banking client, ensuring smooth deployments across cloud and on‑prem environments using CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and agile practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define, document, and enforce release policies, procedures, and standards across multiple environments.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins/ArgoCD, Docker, Kubernetes) to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (dev, QA, ops, security) to schedule releases, manage dependencies, and resolve blockers.
- Monitor release health, perform post‑deployment reviews, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements specific to the banking sector.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in release or DevOps roles within regulated industries.
- Hands‑on expertise with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with release governance, risk assessment, and compliance documentation.
