Experienced Release Manager to lead planning, scheduling, and execution of high‑risk, multi‑application releases within a corporate banking environment, leveraging CI/CD pipelines, Agile practices, and ITIL processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end‑to‑end release planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple C&IB applications and teams.
- Coordinate high‑risk or complex releases, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain release calendars, track dependencies, and manage release documentation in tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
- Facilitate release readiness reviews, risk assessments, and post‑release retrospectives.
- Implement and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in release management or a related role within a large, regulated financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL release and change management processes.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automation scripting.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
