Program Manager
Lead the end‑to‑end release process for university production systems, coordinating scheduling, cross‑team communication, and change approvals while ensuring rigorous documentation and risk management across the SDLC.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute releases across all production environments, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to SLAs.
- Coordinate with development, QA, operations, and security teams to validate deployment readiness and rollback plans.
- Maintain a centralized deployment calendar and communicate status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and the Change Advisory Board.
- Document all release activities, approvals, and post‑deployment reviews, ensuring compliance with university policies and industry best practices.
- Lead post‑deployment monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of release processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing releases in complex, multi‑team environments.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation tools.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional coordination and stakeholder reporting.
- Familiarity with change management frameworks and risk assessment.
