Engineering Manager
Lead release engineering for medical software and electronics, driving CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and hardware‑software integration using C/C++, Python and Linux in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain automated build and release pipelines for embedded software and electronic firmware.
- Coordinate cross‑functional release activities, ensuring compliance with medical device regulations and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain tooling scripts (Python, Bash) for version control, artifact management and deployment.
- Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis of hardware‑software integration issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in CI/CD, Git workflows and Agile processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in release engineering or technical lead roles for embedded systems.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python development on Linux platforms.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), Git, and automated testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of hardware debugging, electronics schematics, and firmware flashing.
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA) and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
