Release Engineer Consumer Devices

As a Release Engineer for Consumer Devices at openai, you will be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of software for our consumer-facing products. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient releases, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to plan and execute software releases
• Develop and maintain release processes and tools to ensure efficient and reliable deployments
• Work with QA and testing teams to identify and resolve issues before release
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain documentation for release processes and tools

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software release engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and release processes
• Experience with Python, Node.js, and AWS
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
