About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support research studies within the Jamieson Trauma Institute, ensuring protocol compliance and timely execution.
- Deliver technology‑enabled therapy sessions, operating and troubleshooting rehabilitation devices and software.
- Collect, manage, and analyse quantitative and qualitative study data using tools such as Python and MATLAB.
- Assist in the design, prototyping, and testing of assistive and rehabilitation technology solutions.
- Collaborate closely with clinical teams, engineers, and external research partners to integrate new technologies into patient care pathways.
Requirements
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Rehabilitation Science, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in programming and data analysis using Python and/or MATLAB.
- Experience with clinical research processes, including study coordination and data management.
- Knowledge of assistive technology design, sensor integration, or rehabilitation device development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
