Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates, which operate non-profit health centers across the U.S. PPFA also works to educate the public on and advocate for issues of sexual and reproductive health. Formed as the advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Planned Parenthood Action Fund is a separate non-profit membership organization tax-exempt under section 501(c)(4). The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and limited electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education in furtherance of the Planned Parenthood mission.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (Action Fund)seek a Regional Campaigns Director to advance shared campaign goals between state and national teams. This job reports to the Senior Director of Regional Campaigns and Capacity in the Organizing and Engagement Campaigns department. The Organizing and Engagement Campaigns department provides support to local PP organizations, cross-divisional campaign alignment and implementation, and internal coordination in building long-term organizing power to protect and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care and ensure that those most impacted by policy decisions have a say in those decisions.
Purpose:
The Regional Campaign Director (RCD) serves as the lead strategist for advancing Planned Parenthood ’s advocacy, electoral, and policy campaigns within an assigned multi-state region. Working in close partnership with local Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations, the RCD develops, adapts, and implements campaign strategies that advance sexual and reproductive healthcare and rights (SRHR), defend Planned Parenthood from legislative and political attacks, and build durable political power.
The Regional Campaign Director (RCD) works with our colleagues at local PP organizations to advance a shared agenda and run campaigns to achieve policy and advocacy goals.
