Lead the implementation, administration, and monitoring of CUI, Records Management, and Vital Records programs, ensuring compliance with federal standards and safeguarding sensitive information across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute policies and procedures for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and records management, ensuring alignment with federal regulations.
- Oversee the administration and monitoring of the CUI, Records Management, and Vital Records programs, including risk assessments and audit preparation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate information assurance controls into daily operations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on CUI handling, records retention, and compliance requirements.
- Lead incident response activities related to information security and coordinate with external stakeholders for compliance reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in records management, information assurance, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of CUI regulations (e.g., NIST SP 800‑171) and federal records management standards.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear policy documents and training materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with records management systems.
