About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive records and information management policies aligned with the Commodity Exchange Act and agency regulations.
- Oversee the classification, retention, and disposition of legal and regulatory documents across multiple platforms.
- Implement metadata standards and data governance frameworks to ensure accurate retrieval and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to integrate records management into enterprise systems and workflows.
- Conduct periodic audits, risk assessments, and training sessions to promote best practices and regulatory adherence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management, Law, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in records and information management within a regulated environment.
- Proficiency with enterprise document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, OpenText) and metadata schema design.
- Strong understanding of federal records retention schedules, the CEA, and related statutes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
