Real Time Linux Software Engineer - Hottinger, Bruel & Kjaer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and optimize Linux RTOS kernels and real‑time applications for both Intel/AMD and ARM64 architectures.
• Design and implement low‑latency drivers, middleware, and system services that meet stringent timing requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to validate system compatibility and performance.
• Provide technical support for product validation, manufacturing, and field deployment.
• Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming on Linux platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with real‑time operating systems and kernel development.
• Deep understanding of Intel/AMD and ARM64 architectures, including low‑level debugging and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with build systems, version control, and automated testing for embedded software.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently on complex engineering tasks.
