About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high‑quality technical documents, including R&D tax relief claims, grant proposals, and patent applications, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering, scientific, and software teams to gather technical data and translate complex concepts into clear, concise narratives.
- Maintain and update documentation repositories, templates, and style guides to support consistent, accurate submissions.
- Review and edit peer‑generated content, providing constructive feedback to improve clarity and technical accuracy.
- Stay current on changes to R&D tax relief, grant funding schemes, and intellectual property law to advise clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical writing within engineering, science, or software domains.
- Strong understanding of UK R&D tax relief, grant funding processes, and patent law.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical details to non‑technical audiences.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
