We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our JFrog Fly group and be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading technical projects across the full delivery lifecycle, with a strong focus on the AI capabilities at the core of the product. To join us, you should bring strong hands-on leadership, combining technical excellence with innovation, leading by example, and mentoring your team while fostering close collaboration with product partners, AI specialists, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5–7 developers working on a large-scale, complex, and innovative product.
• Lead delivery across multiple product domains, including user-facing applications, backend infrastructure, and AI services, balancing priorities across disciplines and technologies.
• Identify and manage risks and challenges, ensuring alignment, commitment, and high-quality execution across all stakeholders.
• Prioritize roadmap items in partnership with product management and balance technical debt against feature delivery.
• Take an active role in recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring new team members to build a strong, collaborative, and high-performing team.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of the different solutions, while exploring new technologies in the AI, agent, and DevOps spaces to drive innovation and scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Team Leader or Engineering Manager, with a proven track record of mentoring engineers and building high-performing teams.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in software development.
• Ability to manage delivery, set milestones, and resolve technical and organizational challenges.
• Strong architectural skills, with the ability to make sound design and implementation decisions.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, high-performance production systems.
• Deep understanding of backend development of SaaS and microservices, using cloud-native practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Kubernetes domains, with the ability to define requirements and collaborate closely with DevOps engineers.
• Hands-on experience in Go and Python is an advantage.
• Experience with, or active interest in, LLMs, agents, and AI-powered development tools.
• A self-driven and fast-learning mindset, able to quickly adapt to new technologies and evolving product needs.
