R&D Software Engineer, Digital C - Advantest Europe GmbH

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance C++ software for automated test equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain embedded Linux firmware and drivers that interface with custom hardware modules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define test specifications, integrate AI/IoT features, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Automate test sequences and data acquisition pipelines to increase throughput and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and agile sprint planning to deliver robust solutions on schedule.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17) and object‑oriented design.
• Experience with embedded Linux development, device drivers, and real‑time constraints.
• Hands‑on knowledge of test automation frameworks and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version‑control systems (e.g., Git).
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with a passion for semiconductor test technology.
