About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures for all railroad construction activities.
- Conduct pre‑construction, in‑process, and post‑completion inspections to verify compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data, generate reports, and present findings to senior leadership to drive process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of quality and safety across all project sites.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in quality management within the railroad or heavy construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, AAR) and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with quality management software and Microsoft Office suite.
