Lead multidisciplinary rail engineering teams, overseeing design, construction, and delivery of complex rail infrastructure projects while managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and mentor a team of rail engineers and designers through all project phases, from concept to construction.
- Develop and review detailed rail designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM workflows to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, delivering milestones on time and within cost targets.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and secure approvals.
- Lead risk assessments, quality control processes, and continuous improvement initiatives across rail projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Rail Engineering with 8+ years of progressive experience in rail infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing large‑scale rail projects, including design, construction, and commissioning.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM software.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
