Lead the integration of radar hardware, overseeing design, testing, and validation of complex radar subsystems using C++, Python, FPGA development, and signal‑processing expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end hardware integration for advanced radar systems, ensuring compliance with performance and schedule targets.
- Develop and maintain C++ and Python test frameworks for signal‑processing validation and real‑time data acquisition.
- Design, program, and debug FPGA firmware supporting radar front‑end and digital back‑end functions.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers—to resolve integration issues and drive system-level verification.
- Generate technical documentation, integration plans, and risk mitigation strategies for senior leadership and government stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of radar hardware experience.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for test automation and signal‑processing algorithms.
- Hands‑on experience with FPGA design tools (e.g., VHDL/Verilog, Vivado, Quartus) and high‑frequency RF hardware.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex integration projects.
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one) and U.S. citizenship.
