As a Staff Engineer in our Microscope IT Infrastructure & Platform Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable and highly available IT infrastructure and platforms to support our microscope business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve the overall efficiency of our IT operations. This is a key role that requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and highly available IT infrastructure and platforms to support microscope business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve IT operations
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for IT infrastructure and platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to IT infrastructure and platforms

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and platform engineering
• Strong technical background in Python, Node.js, and AWS
• Experience with cloud computing and DevOps practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Strong communication and documentation skills
