Software Engineer
Develop and automate quantum processor bring‑up, leveraging C++ and deep expertise in circuit‑QED and cavity‑QED to design, test, and validate high‑performance quantum hardware.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement C++ software frameworks for automated bring‑up of quantum processors.
- Develop measurement protocols and test suites for circuit‑QED and cavity‑QED systems.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize quantum processor performance.
- Integrate data acquisition and analysis tools to provide real‑time feedback during processor testing.
- Document test procedures, results, and best practices to support reproducible research and production scaling.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C++ development, including modern standards (C++11/14/17).
- Solid understanding of quantum hardware concepts, especially circuit‑QED and cavity‑QED.
- Experience building automated test and measurement systems for high‑frequency quantum devices.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with hardware, firmware, and software teams in a fast‑paced research environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of delivering reliable, reproducible test solutions.
