About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of advanced quantitative analyses, including ad‑hoc deep dives, financial assessments, and portfolio performance studies for the Small Business Card line.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations that shape marketing tactics and portfolio management.
- Develop and maintain predictive models and machine‑learning solutions to forecast card usage, risk, and revenue trends.
- Oversee data pipelines, ensuring high‑quality data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL and Python.
- Create compelling visualizations and dashboards in Tableau to communicate insights to senior leadership.
- Mentor and manage a team of analysts, fostering a culture of rigorous analytics and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative analytics, preferably within financial services or card products.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical modeling techniques; hands‑on experience with machine‑learning libraries.
- Strong data‑visualization skills using Tableau or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects and communicate complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
