Systems Engineer
Lead quality system development for laser metal additive manufacturing, driving continuous improvement, compliance, and process excellence across aerospace, defense, and medical sectors.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001 and industry best practices for additive manufacturing processes.
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action initiatives using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Develop and deliver training on quality standards, statistical process control, and continuous improvement tools to cross‑functional teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to embed quality metrics into product design and manufacturing workflows.
- Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with aerospace, defense, and medical regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within additive or precision manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), and Lean principles.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (Minitab, JMP) and quality management software.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
