Design, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems for mechanical pipe joining products, ensuring ISO compliance, driving Six Sigma initiatives, and fostering continuous improvement across global manufacturing operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and audit the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to meet ISO 9001 and industry‑specific standards.
- Lead Six Sigma and Lean projects to reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance product reliability.
- Conduct root‑cause investigations on non‑conformances, drive corrective and preventive actions, and track effectiveness.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply‑chain teams to embed quality controls into product design and production processes.
- Prepare and present quality performance metrics, audit findings, and compliance reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; 3+ years of experience in quality systems within a mechanical or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated expertise with ISO 9001, ASME, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, with a proven track record of leading improvement projects.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in root‑cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA), and ability to drive corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills, with experience working in a global, multi‑site organization.
