Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑wide quality engineering practices, driving automation, standards and continuous testing across the development lifecycle using modern test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve the Centre of Excellence for Quality Engineering, defining frameworks, standards and tooling that span the entire product lifecycle.
- Lead the strategy for automated testing, including unit, integration, UI and performance tests, ensuring high coverage and early defect detection.
- Collaborate with engineering, product and DevOps teams to embed quality into Agile workflows, championing shift‑left testing and continuous feedback.
- Drive the selection and implementation of test automation tools, scripting languages and CI/CD integrations to maximize efficiency and reliability.
- Mentor and coach cross‑functional teams on best practices, fostering a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in quality engineering, test automation and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Proficiency with modern test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and scripting languages such as Python or Java.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and mentor junior staff.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
