Quality Control Engineer responsible for reviewing bids, designs, and installation documents for electronic security and low‑voltage systems, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and high‑quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Independently review and validate bid proposals, design schematics, and installation drawings for electronic security and low‑voltage projects.
- Conduct thorough quality audits at each project phase, from concept through commissioning, to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate with engineering, installation, and field teams to resolve design discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and as‑built records.
- Utilize AutoCAD and related design tools to verify layout accuracy and identify potential conflicts.
- Generate detailed quality reports and recommendations for continuous improvement of processes and products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality control or assurance within the electronic security or low‑voltage systems industry.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software and strong understanding of security system design standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
