Software Engineer
Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for designing and executing automated and manual test suites, ensuring the reliability of a browser‑based aviation management platform using Python, Selenium, and SQL within an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python to validate core functionalities of the aviation management application.
- Execute manual test cases, perform exploratory testing, and document defects in JIRA.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and DevOps to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability of new features.
- Develop and maintain test data sets and SQL queries for backend verification and regression testing.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives to align testing activities with Agile delivery cycles.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in SaaS or aviation‑related solutions.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a detail‑orientated approach to defect tracking and reporting.
