Software Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end quality assurance for pharmaceutical software, designing and executing automated and manual test plans using Selenium, JIRA, and API testing tools within an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software releases.
- Execute automated test suites using Selenium and perform manual testing to validate functional, regression, and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (development, product, and regulatory) to identify defects, track resolution, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Integrate API testing into the QA workflow, utilizing tools such as Postman or REST Assured to validate backend services.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing test estimates, sprint reviews, and continuous improvement feedback.
Requirements
- 3+ years of QA experience in a regulated environment, preferably pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, JIRA, and API testing frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail‑oriented approach to defect identification and documentation.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Italian is a plus.
