Engineering Manager
Lead a team of QA Engineers to ensure high‑quality delivery of a cloud‑based HR platform, driving test automation, Agile processes, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a distributed team of Quality Assurance Engineers, setting performance goals and fostering professional growth.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve QA strategies, test plans, and automation frameworks for the ConnX HR product.
- Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into Agile sprints and CI/CD pipelines.
- Oversee functional, regression, performance, and security testing, ensuring defects are identified, tracked, and resolved efficiently.
- Maintain test documentation in Jira, generate metrics, and report quality status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on QA experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium (or equivalent) and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
