QA Engineer
Lead a QA team in designing and executing automated Java‑based API and UI tests, driving test strategy, continuous integration pipelines, and quality standards for lending technology solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the test strategy for Java‑based API and UI automation across lending platforms.
- Lead a team of SDETs, providing mentorship, code reviews, and best‑practice guidance.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, RestAssured, JUnit/TestNG, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and DevOps to ensure testability and rapid feedback in Agile sprints.
- Track quality metrics, analyze defects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on test automation experience with Java, Selenium, and API testing tools.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience configuring pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Proven leadership experience guiding QA engineers in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
