Software Engineer
Lead QA efforts for a high‑traffic digital customer experience platform, defining testing standards and driving automation across web, mobile and API services to ensure safe, reliable releases.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce QA standards, processes and best practices across multiple digital squads.
- Design, implement and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile and API components using tools such as Selenium.
- Collaborate with product, development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure rapid, reliable releases.
- Mentor and coach QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Monitor release health, track defects, and drive root‑cause analysis to protect customer experience and brand trust.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or lead‑engineer role.
- Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) and API testing tools.
- Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work closely with cross‑functional squads.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with issue‑tracking tools such as Jira.
