QA Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end quality assurance for vehicle HVAC systems, designing and automating functional, performance, and diagnostic tests across SDV environments, while managing field‑issue analysis and quality metrics.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for HVAC functions, including heating, cooling, air‑quality, de‑icing, and thermal‑management integration.
- Design test cases based on temperature control logic, sensor inputs (ambient temperature, humidity, solar radiation), and actuator outputs (blower, mixer, compressor).
- Implement automated test frameworks to increase verification efficiency and reliability across SDV and production releases.
- Coordinate cross‑domain testing with thermal‑management and electrification systems, ensuring seamless vehicle‑wide integration.
- Lead field‑issue analysis, maintain quality metrics pre‑ and post‑mass production, and drive continuous improvement of system reliability.
Requirements
- Strong background in automotive HVAC and thermal‑management systems.
- Experience with SDV environments, Domain Controller architectures, and legacy control integration.
- Proficiency in test design, automation, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent analytical skills for diagnosing field issues and optimizing quality metrics.
- Effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
