Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of test strategies, automation frameworks, and quality standards for complex banking applications, driving continuous improvement and ensuring high‑quality releases.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the overall QA architecture, including test automation frameworks, tools, and processes across multiple banking platforms.
- Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to embed quality practices into Agile delivery cycles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and performance testing using Selenium, Java, and related technologies.
- Establish testing standards, metrics, and governance to monitor product quality and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor and coach QA engineers, fostering best practices in test design, code reviews, and defect management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver; experience with API testing tools (e.g., RestAssured, Postman).
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD integration, and test‑driven development.
- Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable automation frameworks and drive adoption across teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a track record of influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
