Quality Assurance Analyst responsible for designing and executing test plans, creating automated test scripts, and managing defects to ensure product reliability, performance, and compliance with quality standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases aligned with functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Create, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Identify, log, and track defects using a QA database, working closely with development teams to drive timely resolution.
- Perform root‑cause analysis of production issues and recommend preventive measures to improve process quality.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure testing activities integrate smoothly within Agile sprints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience with test planning, test automation tools, and defect management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL for data validation and reporting.
- Familiarity with QA databases, auditing processes, and software testing best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
