About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance efforts throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle for Garmin Connect Mobile and related consumer products.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for iOS and Android applications using Python‑based frameworks.
- Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to provide early feedback, identify defects, and influence feature specifications.
- Execute functional, regression, performance, and usability testing on mobile devices, ensuring compliance with Garmin product specifications.
- Track defects, manage test cases, and report metrics using Jira and other test‑management tools.
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices in Agile environments.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in quality assurance for mobile applications.
- Proficiency in test automation scripting (Python) and mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
- Strong understanding of Agile development processes and SDLC quality gates.
- Hands‑on experience with defect tracking and test‑case management tools such as Jira.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
