Quality Analyst & Control Lead - Data Center Operations - EOS IT Solutions
Systems Engineer
Lead quality assurance and control for edge data center operations, driving audit, compliance and governance while coordinating with engineering, monitoring teams and incident management using ITIL processes and automation tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce QA/QC policies, standards and audit procedures for edge data center environments.
- Conduct regular compliance assessments, root‑cause analyses and corrective‑action tracking to ensure adherence to industry and internal standards.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering and security teams to integrate quality metrics into monitoring tools and incident‑management workflows.
- Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, leveraging scripting/automation (Python, Bash) to streamline data collection, reporting and remediation.
- Provide training, mentorship and performance feedback to QA/QC staff and cross‑functional partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control within data center or large‑scale IT infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework, audit methodologies and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring platforms (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk) and scripting for automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with a track record of driving process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
