Software Testing (Manual & Automation)
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer / QA Lead with 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. The candidate will be responsible for defining the overall testing strategy, establishing QA processes and frameworks, managing test execution, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Experience in designing or implementing a QA framework from scratch. Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar. Knowledge of API automation, performance testing, and security testing is an advantage. Experience leading QA activities across multiple projects or teams
Define and implement overall testing strategy, test plans, and QA frameworks based on project requirements.
Establish quality standards, testing processes, methodologies, and best practices across projects.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
Plan and execute functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using appropriate defect management tools.
Perform root-cause analysis for critical and recurring defects and drive corrective actions.
Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC/STLC.
Review test coverage and ensure critical business workflows are adequately tested.
Define and monitor QA metrics, quality KPIs, defect trends, test coverage, and release quality.
Support test automation strategy and identify suitable test cases for automation.
Participate in release planning, UAT, production validation, and post-release quality reviews.
Continuously improve QA processes, testing efficiency, and overall product quality.
Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on testing practices and standards.
