QA/Test Automation Engineer responsible for end‑to‑end testing in an Agile defense modernization program, designing test strategy, automating Selenium and API tests in Python, and enforcing strict quality standards across security domains.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full testing lifecycle from requirements review to defect resolution within an Agile software factory.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and Python, ensuring high coverage of functional, regression, and security scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and security teams to define and enforce Acceptable Quality Levels (AQLs) and security compliance requirements.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, monitor results, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test reports, and mentor junior QA staff on best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA/Test Automation experience in a defense or high‑security environment.
- Proficiency in Python, Selenium WebDriver, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
- Experience with security testing concepts, including OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
