About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the automation testing strategy, establishing standards, frameworks, and best practices across multiple projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright test frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript, ensuring reusability and robustness.
- Implement AI‑augmented QA workflows, leveraging large language models for dynamic test generation and risk‑based test prioritization.
- Mentor and coach both automation and manual QA engineers, fostering a quality‑first mindset and continuous skill growth.
- Own end‑to‑end test execution, reporting, and defect management while collaborating closely with development and product teams.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years leading automation initiatives.
- Deep expertise in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern test automation frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience integrating AI/ML techniques (e.g., LLM‑based test generation) into QA processes.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and Agile development practices.
- Proven ability to mentor teams, communicate effectively, and drive continuous improvement in testing quality.
